    We wanted to create a no-nonsense place where people can relax and reinvent the world around a few simple dishes and over a lovely glass of something. Le Comptoir is a bar, a deli, a wine cellar a teaching space, but also so much more.

     

    In 2013, when it first opened, it was voted brasserie of the year by Gault & Millau, thus confirming that quality and the savoir faire of l'Eau Vive can indeed be offered to the public at more affordable prices.

     

    Thanks to the support of right-hand man Simon Denis, we are now in a position to share yet another aspect of our passion and to offer more complex suggestions – alongside all-time bistro classics – in an attempt to salute our local producers and the creativity of our young team.
